My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were of a high standard, and the staff were amazing and attentive, although the noisy location right on the entry downstairs was a downside. The food was fantastic, but the lack of cleanliness and value for money made me question the nightly rate of £70.

The hotel had overall good service and the rooms were clean, but some maintenance issues were present. The location was convenient, and the dining experience had its ups and downs.

The room was really clean but had quite a strong 'air freshener' smell which gave me a bit of a headache. Some maintenance issues were visible like cracked and stained grouting, broken toilet paper holder, and non-functional mirror lights.

The staff were helpful and friendly, obviously trying their best to assist. They were great about cleaning the room when we pointed out it had not been done.

The location was just right, with good parking, and the interior was inviting during Christmas. The hotel was ideal for a stayover, but being across from an old churchyard and cemetery may not appeal to everyone.

The hotel was a great value, despite the noisy main road outside. The rooms, complete with a fan during a heatwave, were clean, but the noise from the road was a downside. The service was friendly and helpful, under excellent management. The location, convenient for various purposes, was near the Buxted Hotel. The dining experience was mixed, with some room for improvement. Overall, a decent stay at good value.
